Raj (Bobby Deol), Yogi (Suniel Shetty) and Vikram (Irrfan Khan) - best friends, business partners, serial womanizers and happily married! Happy, because their lovely wives have no clue that their husbands cheat on them with every pretty young thing they can lay their eyes on. This picture perfect world is rocked when Raj's wife, Sanjana (Sonam Kapoor) begins to suspect her husband and hires the suave private detective, Kishan (Akshay Kumar), to tail him. Kishan has built his reputation as a man who saves marriages by getting erring husbands to mend their ways, and is also an expert in playing the flute. In this particular case, however, his overwhelming attraction towards Sanjana means he may not be acting in her best interest!
Unaware what Sanjana has done, somehow Raj gets confused how Sanjana is finding everything out, and to solve this case, he also goes to private detective Kishan. Though, Kishan pretends he has no idea of who Sanjana is. They don't know that its Kishan himself. Until, Raj, Vikram and Yogi find out that Kishan was playing a game on them. They surround him, when Sanjana comes in. Raj divorces Sanjana. Raj then gets drunk, and when he's fully hungover, Kishan comes over with a wedding card. Raj suspects its Kishan and Sanjana's wedding, and starts to beat Kishan black-and-blue. Since he is drunk, he keeps missing and then accidentally smashes a police officer. The three friends are then arrested, but later bailed out my Mafia don, King (Mukesh Tiwari). Earlier, the three friends saved King from his marriage getting destroyed.
Raj jumps into the wedding and straightly shoots Kishan. Though, the bullets were all fake. Kishan says he did this all because he had a wife (Vidya Balan), who committed suicide after finding out that Kishan was cheating on her. After that, Raj, Yogi and Vikram promise to give up outside-relationships. All the couples get back together, Raj and Sanjana get remarried, and finally Kishan leads off to solve another couple's case, like Raj and Sanjana.
